
Jasmine Nanooch
Jasmine is an Indigenous counsellor from Treaty 8 territory and respectfully acknowledges that she lives and works within Treaty 6 territory. Her academic and professional focus has consistently centered on Indigenous populations, with an emphasis on trauma and trauma-informed approaches to both therapy and research. Jasmine is committed to contributing to the mental health field by offering culturally-informed practices in individual, youth, and family therapy.

She is currently completing training and workshops in trauma-informed therapies, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and somatic attachment work. She continually works to expand her knowledge of the many diverse groups and cultures in and around Edmonton, striving to provide informed and culturally sensitive care where it is needed most.

Experience and training: Jasmine is an Indigenous Provisional Psychologist from Little Red River Cree Nation with an undergrad in Psychology from Concordia University, and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University
